This candle can be used to call in whatever type of abundance you are needing in your life. Remember that money is not the only indication of success. Prosperity can come in many forms, and we need to be grateful for all the abundance that is in our life. So consider if it’s only money you need or if there are other forms of abundance that would be equally or more beneficial to you

Botanical: Peony & Pine ~ Peony symbolises honour, good fortune + wealth, while Pine represents steadiness & resilience

Crystal: Jade~ lucky charm, helps attain goals + dreams

Fragrance: Sea Salt + Wood Sage ~ Clears the way for longevity + money

Colour: Green ~ Represents prosperity + abundance

Preparation:

Read through the whole ritual before beginning.

The crystals on the top of the candle are beads, they should be taken off the top and can be threaded through a piece of string or carried in a pouch (using the suggested colour) to wear on the neck, wrist or ankle, or can be added to your alter.

You will also need a glass or stainless bowl and a glass of water.

Start by setting the candle on a sturdy surface so you can see the flame, and get comfortable.

Light the candle

Drop into this moment by bringing your focus to your breath. Use the alternate nostril breathing technique to bring clarity and balance to this ritual. This breath goes like this:

Exhale fully, plug the right nostril and inhale for 4-6 counts through the left nostril, hold at the top for 2 counts and plug the left, exhaling for the same counts out the right nostril. Hold for 2 counts then inhale again through the right nostril, holding at the top, switching and exhaling out the left nostril. Repeat this pattern until you feel focused and have cleared your mind.

Hold the Jade in your hand and start to visualize the type of abundance you are calling in. This is a good time to get really clear. For example, saying ‘I want more money’ is very general, which is fine, but you’ll have to be very open to how the universe might bring that to you (and in what amount!) However, stating ‘I am calling in a promotion at work, for x amount of dollars’ helps you define your goal so that you can see a more direct path towards it.

Write down, in a few sentences, what it is that you desire and fold the paper into a few pieces.

You will now use the candle to light the paper. Please do this with caution, and have the bowl nearby so you can drop the paper in it and have the water close in case anything goes wrong. This is also best done outside or with a window open if you have an apartment with a smoke detector.

As the paper burns repeat this incantation 3 times:

I am capable of manifesting my own dreams

I manifest these dreams to reality & call in my abundance

I trust that the universe will provide all that I desire in divine timing

So may it be

Now stare into the flame until you can see a brilliant green light rising. Draw the glow of this light so it envelopes you, bringing it into your heart, your head, your solar plex, receiving all the abundance that is coming your way. Allow it to fill you up before projecting it back out, in a reciprocal show of gratitude for all the abundance you already have in your life!

Once the paper has burned it’s a good practice to either bury the ashes or at least offer them to the earth. You can include this incantation as you do this:

As above, so below

As within, so without

As the Universe, so the Soul.

Afterwards, journal your steps towards these goals and start to notice of abundance shows up in different ways in your life, being grateful for all you have.
